Priceline Pickups #1

If you are an Aussie girl, there are many things you would get excited about (half-price waffles at Gelare on Tuesdays for example). The seasonal 40% off cosmetics at Priceline would also evoke similar reaction! With a shopping list that I prepared the night before (you can tell this is serious business), I left no room for failure and got to my local Priceline at 9:20am (so that I'm not fighting with other beauty-lovers!). My main purpose for this shopping trip is to grab products that I have heard are great dupes for high-end products!

After all the hype about this compared to the holy grail of primers- Hourglass Mineral Veil, I'm excited to see what this will be like. For those combo-oily skin girls out there, my go-to primer recommendation will be the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer. However, I have heard that this is a great dupe! I am hoping this will control my oils within the T-zone and absorb well into my skin.

I have seen this used many times by the fellow Aussie Youtuber, Jasmine Hand, so I thought this would be a great addition to my freelance kit! Upon swatching it, I enjoyed the soft and velvet texture. If this performs well, maybe I will have switch out my MAC Mineralised Powder- stay tuned!

Can you see the trend here? Current obsession is creating a flawless and beautiful base! Not really a foundation powder but more like a "I glow within" powder. I have never tried anything from this brand before but again, the texture feels beautiful and resembles the Hourglass Ambient Powder. Is it okay to say that I am excited one.more.time?

I settled for the more natural one (you don't hear that very often!) Extremely pigmented! This was definitely a "want" rather than a "need".

From low-end to luxury brands, I have had an okay run with mascaras lately. Nothing awesome but nothing horrible. Thats no fun haha, so I'm hoping this will change things!

ARDELL LASHES

While this wasn't on sale, I picked this up for an engagement photoshoot this weekend (yay!). I have used this on myself and loved the natural, fluffy texture. I just wished they did this in bulk!

So, that concludes my little Priceline haul!

I will check in a few weeks to let you know how these are going!

What are you planning on picking up?
